Central Greenwich College's key aim is to help you build success into
your life, achieve your ambitions and acquire the skills and
qualifications that you need.
We accomplish this by not only providing high standards of academic
provision, but by emphasising the social aspect of the international
community represented here in the college.
The majority of students at CGC are international, from many different
countries, cultures and backgrounds, and our staffs are equally diverse.
At CGC we positively celebrate this diversity and explore the many
aspects and experiences of life in the UK, as we believe that this not
only enriches your time here, but also provides you with an
international perspective that then enhances your studies.
To this end we organise days where we schedule events that help
students understand each other and the country in which they are
living, such as celebrating Chinese New Year or International Food Day
and organising trips to sites of interest such as Windsor Castle or

links with the wider local community.
You will be provided with the support that you need to enable you to
achieve and progress in your chosen field, both academically and
personally, as every member of staff at CGC has, at some point, lived
and worked in an unfamiliar culture and understand both the practical
and emotional challenges you may face, as well as how to effectively
cope with them.
We offer a wide range of courses tailored to your individual needs and
at a variety of levels. The teaching is usually conducted in
deliberately smaller classes that enable students to have more
teacher-time, allowing the teacher to accommodate the needs of each
student effectively and the student to have the quality of learning that

develop their full potential by enhancing competencies and commitment,
and contributing to the achievement of professional excellence in their
chosen field of study.
