AUTOCAD 2009
Autocad is one of the leading softwares used to create designs and drawings for the Architectural, Civil and Mechanical Industry. A course in Autocad is beneficial for all those who want to pursue a career in these industries and also for people interested in 3D Modelling and Visualisation. This course will help to you find jobs as a Technician/Draftsman or as an Architect, Civil Engineer, Project manager, Designer it will help you to understand and present your designs to industry standards.

The course is divided into three levels –
  • Essentials – 5wks x 3hrs – 2 hrs teaching + 1hr assisted practice
  • Advanced – 3wks x 2 hrs – 2hrs teaching
  • ACAD 3D– 4wks x 3hrs - 2 hrs teaching + 1hr assisted practice
The Essentials and Advanced levels include the necessary knowledge required to draw, annotate and print high standard 2D drawings. The Acad 3D level is specifically for creating 3D models, applying materials and setting up views. You can join whichever level suits you best. At the end of each class you will be given homework which will be marked and improvements suggested. At the end of the course you will receive a certificate.

Autocad Essentials weekend course

The weekend course is an intensive course which compresses the Essential level education (See course content above) for Autocad over a 12 hour teaching period – 6 hours each on Saturday and Sunday with a one hour break in the middle. It is suitable for people with good computer skills and who can keep pace.
