Aims of the course:
The course is specifically designed for E-commerce or E-Business professionals or those who want to start their career in E-Business.
The course provides theoretical concepts and hands on practical experience relevant to the real world. Students will be able to design and develop a web site for business and will ultimately be able to run their own business or organisation with SEO (Search Engine Optimiser).
Entry requirements:
The course is primarily designed to accommodate candidates who are either looking to enhance their IT skills by applying them to business, or to candidates from a business background looking to develop skills to enable them to diversify through the electronic media.
Students are normally expected to have received a good pass at undergraduate degree level, 2:1 or an equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification. Appropriate professional experience would be considered where relevant, and this is considered on an individual basis.
Course Structure:
This course consists of two modules, Module 1 and Module 2 each module has four units, at the end of the course student has to submit project work and sit a final examination. It is designed to be taught over 1 year on a full-time basis (16 GLH per week).

Assessment:
You are assessed using a range of methods: research reports, case studies, practical implementations and unseen examinations.
