Q: Will I be able to work while I study?
A: CGC complies with the law which states that a student may work during
their term time for no more than 20 hours per week (although full time
employment may be undertaken during holidays) and takes a dim view of
students who are absent from their scheduled studies because they wish to
work. Students that do so will inevitably be reported to the appropriate
authorities. For further information check the UKBA website
www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/

A: Staff at CGC includes representatives from eleven different
nationalities from four continents with over sixteen languages spoken in
addition to English. Our students are just as diverse, with many students
from Asia, Latin America as well as Africa and other parts of Europe. This
diversity brings a range of experience into the classroom and helps enrich
your studies.
Q: Where will I stay during my studies?
A: Well, that depends on your preferences. Most students opt for a
house/room share with other students, but many options are available.
Further details can be found under accommodation.
Q: Do I need to buy any study materials?
A: Details of what study material you are likely to need will vary from
course to course, but generally you will be expected to buy the core texts.

Q: What is the weather like in the UK?
A: Weather in Britain is changeable! Britain has an oceanic temperate
climate with four seasons.
Summer months in London can be sunny and warm averaging 25°C/77°F however,
in winter you should be prepared for wet, windy and cold conditions of
around 0°C/32°F. It can even snow around December and January. It can get
hotter and colder than this, but normally by a huge amount. More detailed
information is given below, but please remember that these are average
daytime temperatures and it can get colder at night. The best way to dress
for the British climate is in layers, so you can add or take away as
necessary. Suitable clothing is available at reasonable prices from many
stores in the UK.
