Central Greenwich College is a new, privately funded independent College
founded to offer and provide courses in computing, business, management and English to overseas and
home students in an academic environment near to existing Higher Education provision.
Our Campus is in central London close to the business centre, tourist attractions, and near the
University of London, Metropolitan University and East London University.
We recognise the importance to our students of progressing with their studies as well as making social
interactions, and so we encourage our students to enrol in an environment where they can both learn and
make new acquaintances.
All of our lecturers and support staff are fully qualified and provide a professional, yet friendly,
attitude to the students and we encourage them to approach our staff at any opportunity to bring to light
any difficulties they may be experiencing. We also take pride in the diversity of our student population
and our lasting international credibility. Our College brings together students from many different
nationalities plus a rich host of cultures, and it creates an opportunity for students to make friendships
that will endure forever. These two factors – qualified staff and student diversity - have enabled us to
learn and grow simultaneously.
Our standards are achieved by an attention to quality in all areas. The qualifications of
CGC staff, and the care over detail in our course selection for students, leads us to our
prominent place in the provision of business, accountancy, IT and language courses in
Central London.
We are able to provide accommodation facilities to our students in reasonably priced flats and study bed
sits. We also offer assistance with the provision of visas according to the guidelines of the Home Office.
We encourage trips to places of interest including the British Museum, the National Gallery and Thames pleasure
boat cruises.
We believe at CGC that students benefit from attending a college where they can make real progress in their
studies through hard work and dedication. It is a two way process because, with highly qualified staff and a
motivated and diverse student body, excellent results can be achieved.
